Sensational Extended School Year (ESY) Camp is a great option for families looking to continue their student’s learning into the summer. The Sensational ESY Camp serves individuals ages 5 through high school graduation in our 50% camp and 50% instructional based program. This camp serves individuals with a variety of disabilities, in addition to autism. During Summer 2023, campers were able to register for a 3-week and/or a 4-week session.
Our Program Team including the Manager of Camp Programs, Sensational Coordinator, Intervention Specialist, Speech Language Pathologist, and Occupational Therapist design schedules based on each student’s unique needs. Students will have the opportunity to work daily on their individualized education plan (IEP) goals with assistance from their counselor and Intervention Specialist. Campers may start their day with a reading comprehension lesson at a campfire, then transition to the pool to go swimming! Other fun activities include arts and crafts, sports, reading, music, and visits to the horse barn.
